I have a great suggestion...get rid of the ddos attack thats going on...

Getting rid of stuff like that is easier said than done. As far as i know there isnt really a solution to attacks like that. Only thing you can do is harden your server against the attacks. But im no networking wiz so my attempts might not be as effective as they could be.
