Is it possible to change the items received by returning skull items from being completely random, to something that can be used by your class?

I have just handed in 20 skulls and have not received a single usable item for a caster.

Why not have class loot tables that pull a random item out that is usable for that class? You wouldnt necessarly get anything you need, but at least you have a chance.

i've made it to level 38 without getting a single usable item, seems rather pointless.

The Skull system is supposed to be random.

Its just an extra thing you can do wile leveling and farming for gear.

Its like a gambling npc.

well if its modeled on the D2 style gambling NPC, then you can at least bid on an item you know you will be able to use.

It would be useful if there was a way a player can work towards getting some good gear instead of hoping to get drops, thats even assuming you know where to go to get drops.

The only other place you can guarantee farmable items is in DF, and its too difficult for anyone to grind seals in there due to the PVP rules.
